Last week we did the most amazing promotion to launch the new album from The White Stripes, Icky Thump. We took over the old Tower Records location on the Sunset Strip here in LA and converted it, inside and out to "Icky Thump Records". At midnight on Tuesday we opened the store to the hundreds of fans who had been waiting in line outside to buy the record, some for 3 days, and a chance to get a ticket to comeback and see an in-store performance from the band on Wednesday. The kids were all so excited and the energy was amazing. It will certainly be an experience I will remember for as long as I am around this earth.

The show on Wednesday was even more amazing. Jack and Meg were in top form, playing for well over an hour, which was incredible considering they had just played a 2 hour set the night before in New York. After the show ended, kids I had seen waiting in the line for days told me they could now die happy, as that was the most wonderful experience they had ever had.
